The direction of induced current is obtained by:
(a) Fleming's left hand rule
(b) Clock rule
(c) Right hand thumb rule
(d) Fleming's right hand rule.
The direction of induced current may be found easily by applying either Fleming's Right-hand Rule or Lenz's Law. Fleming's Right-hand Rule (for generators) shows the direction of induced current when a conductor attached to a circuit moves in a magnetic field. The right hand is held with the thumb, index finger and middle finger mutually perpendicular to each other (at right angles).
