Solution

Step 1: Finding the distance covered by two cars in meter.

Given: Distance between Ambala and Delhi =200 km 750 m.

=200,750m [ 1km=1000m ]

Distance covered by First car = 75 km 250 m

=75,250 m [ 1km=1000m ]

Distance covered by Second car = 83 km 750 m

=83,750 m [ 1km=1000m ]

Now, the total distance covered by two cars

=83750+75250=159000m

Step 2: Finding the distance between the two cars after one hour.

Distance between the two cars =The total distance between Ambala and Delhi -Total distance covered by two cars

=200,750-159,000=41,750m

=41km750m since,1km=1000m

Hence, the distance between the two cars after one hour is 41km750m.
