Solution

Dear Student,

Earth has 70-71% of water area and 29-30% land area. From all the water of earth, around 97% is saline water in the oceans, this remains with around 3% of fresh water with no salt and can be used for the daily activities. But only about 1% of all is easily accessible because the other 2% is in the form of ice and glaciers. Therefore there is the scarcity of water.

Regards.
