The earth's gravitational force causes an acceleration of 5m/s2 in a 1 kg mass somewhere in space. How much will be the acceleration in a 3 kg mass at the same place? Give reason.

It will cause the same acceleration as it did on the object with mass 1 kg because the acceleration due to gravity doesn't depend on the mass of that object on which it is acting.
