The correct option is C

Given two equations are

5x + 2y = 48 ------- (i)

3x + 2y = 32 -------- (ii)

Solving both the equations simultaneously, we will get the cost of each student ticket and adult ticket.

Subtracting equation (ii) from (i)

2x = 16

x = 8

Now, substituting the value of x in equation (i), we get

5 × 8 + 2y = 48

2y = 8

y = 4

So, cost of each adult ticket = $ 8

Cost of each student ticket = $ 4.
