The correct option is C 4Ω, 2Ω
Let the two resistances be R1 and R2.
Equivalent resistance of series connection, Rs=R1+R2
R1+R2=6 R2=6R1 ...........(1)
Equivalent resistance of parallel connection, Rp=R1R2R1+R2
43=R1(6R1)6 (using 1)
We get R216R1+8=0
Or (R14)(R12)=0 R1=2Ω or 4Ω
Let say, R1=4Ω
R2=64=2Ω
