The facts of science were brought by Aryabhatta. Discuss.

Aryabhatta described in his book Aryabhatiyam that:
(i) Days and nights are caused by the rotation of the earth on its axis, even though it seems as if the sun is rising and setting every day.
(ii) He developed a scientific explanation for eclipses as well.
(iii) He also found a way of calculating the circumference of a circle.

(iv)Aryabhata, first unmanned Earth satellite built by India. It was named for a prominent Indian astronomer and mathematician of the 5th century CE.
