(i) The aim of the experiment is to show the requirement of CO2 for the process of photosynthesis.
(ii) Leaf inside the flask does not get atmospheric CO2.
(iii) NaOH
(iv) Absence of CO2 inside the flask does not allow the leaf 1 to produce starch and the leaf does not turn black at the end of starch test while the leaf 2 turns black.
