The correct option is B T1=0.5T2
According to Kepler’s second law of planetary motion,

Areal velocity for path AB =Areal velocity of path CD

Hence,

Area ASBT1=Area CSDT2...(1)

According to problem,

Area CSD = 2×Area ASB

Substituting this in equation (1), we get

Area ASBT1=2× Area ASBT2

1T1=2T2

T1=0.5T2

Hence, option (c) is correct answer.
