Perimeter of the room $= 2 (l + b)$
$= 2 (9.72 + 7.68) m$

$= 2 (17.40) m$

$= 34.8 m$

$∴$ Perimeter of square titles $= 4 a$ where $a =$ length of side of each tiles

$∴ 4 a = 34.8$

$\Rightarrow a = \frac{34.8}{4} = 8.7 m$

Length of the side of each of such titles $= 8.7 m$
