$A v e r a g e = \frac{t o t a l n u m b e r o f b o o k s i s s u e d i n t h e w e e k}{t o t a l n u m b e r o f d a y s i n a w e e k} ∴ T o t a l n u m b e r o f b o o k s i s s u e d i n t h e w e e k = 216 + 105 + 322 + 167 + 273 + 405 + 346 = 1834 b o o k s N u m b e r o f d a y s i n t h e w e e k = 7 A v e r a g e = \frac{1834}{7} = 262$

Therefore, the average number of books issued per day is $262$ .
