The following ingredients are required to make halwa for 5 persons; suji/Rawa=250 g Sugar=300 g, Ghee=200g, Water=500 ml. Using the concept of proportion, estimate the change in the quantity of ingredients, to prepare halwa for your class.

Given for 5 person ingredients are
Suyi =25 g Sugar =300 g Ghee =200 g water =500 ml
Similarly For 1 person the ingradients are
Seyi =2505=5 g, Sugar =3005=6 g, Ghee =2005=40 g
and water =5005=100 ml
now my class strength is 60
then for 60 person, ingredients quantities
Suji =50×=3000 g=3 kg
Sugar =60×60=3600 g=3.6 kg
Ghee =60×40=24000 g=2.4 kg
Water =100×60=600 mL=1 L
