The first statement in the sequence should be the one that best connects with S1. It must be a continuation or extension of S1.
R is first in the sequence: S1 starts by saying that most people today probably did not see Gandhiji at close quarters. R continues S1's point. It says that he had amazing qualities.
R is followed by P: P starts to tell us about one of the above qualities. It says that one of his qualities were that he managed to draw out the good in people.
