Let the progression be $a,a+d,a+2d$

Then $x_4=3x_1\Rightarrow a+3d=3a\Rightarrow 3d=2a$ .... (i)

Again $x_7=2x_3+1$

$\Rightarrow a+6d=2(a+2d)+1\Rightarrow 2d=a+1$ ..... (ii)

Solving (i) and (ii), we get

$2d=\frac{3d}{2}+1\Rightarrow 4d=3d+2\Rightarrow d=2$

$3\left(2\right)=2a\Rightarrow a=2$

$a=3,d=2$

Thus the common difference of the progression is $2$.
