Let the other number be $x$ .
Since the H.C.F. and L.C.M. of two numbers are $189$ and $8820$ respectively.
Therefore from the property: H.C.F. $\times$ L.C.M. $=$ Product of the numbers.
So, on putting values we get, $189 \times 8820 = 1323 \times x$
$x = \frac{189 \times 8820}{1323}$
$x = 1260 .$
Hence, the required number is $1260 .$
