The correct option is B $2$
As we know,
$t_{1 / 2} \propto \frac{1}{a^{n - 1}}$
$t_{1 / 2} \propto a^{1 - n}$
$∴ \frac{4 \propto (50)^{1 - n}}{2 \propto (100)^{1 - n}} or 2 \propto 2^{n - 1}$
$\Rightarrow n - 1 = 1$
$∴ n = 2$
