Suppose it is cut off by a plane parallel to the base at a height h2 from the base of the cone.

Clearly VOD~VO'B

Therefore,

But,

Volume of cone VCD=127Volume of cone VAB13πr22h1=12713πr1230r2r12h1=109h1302h1=109h1=10

Hence,

Required height

Hence, the correct answer is choice (c).
