The 10 people called were related closely to top executives of the company.


The claim made in the paragraph, is that the company fruit product is the most original and they invited 10 people to ask them their opinion. The study would have most detrimental effect if the study was not a double blind study and not properly controlled. Here in option (b) , it is given that, the 10 people were closely related to the top management leading to an implicit bias within them to favour a product over others. This seriously undermines the study; hence the answer is option (b).
