Solution

The correct option is C T1 < T < T2
When two bodies are brought in contact with each other, the body which was at lower temperature gains heat and its temperature increases, while the other body which was at higher temperature loses heat and hence, its temperature decreases. In this case, since heat flows from C to B, the temperature of B will increase while that of C will decrease and both of them will attain an equilibrium temperature. This equilibrium temperature T will be somewhere in between the temperatures T1 and T2. Thus, we can say T1 < T < T2.
