t-DNA or transfer DNA is found inside the Ti plasmid of Agrrobacterium tumefaciens. Agrobacterium is a prokaryote which infects the dicot plants. They are called natural genetic engineers.
These bacteria can insert its Ti plasmid or Tumour-inducing plasmid into the host plant and results in tumour-like growth called gall in the plants.
