Solution

The Fly Shuttle, invented by John Kay, was a key contributor to the Industrial Revolution. It accelerated the weaving speed and efficiency of the workers. Before the shuttle was invented, two to three workers were required to hold the cloth at the time of its weaving. But with the invention of the fly shuttle, One worker could weave a cloth of any length with shorter span of time. Productivity increased tremendously and the amount of labour the workers used to put in also decreased along with the same earning. This is how the introduction of the fly Shuttle improved the productivity of the handloom workers.
