Diameter of Pillar = $40 cm$
Radius of Pillar, $r = \frac{40}{2} = 20 cm$
Height of Pillar, $h = 7 m = 700 cm$
Cost of coating $= ₹ 1000 / {cm}^{2}$

Surface area of Pillar $= 2 π r h = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 20 \times 700 = 88, 000 {cm}^{2}$
