The length of a rectangle is three times its breadth. If the area of the rectangle is 1875 sq.cm, find its perimeter.

The length of a rectangle is three times its breadth.
The area of the rectangle =1875 sq.cm
Let breadth of rectangle =b
Thus, length of the rectangle =3×(b)
The area of the rectangle is given by:
A= Length ×Breadth
1875=3b×b
b2=18753=625
b=625=25 cm
Thus, length of the rectangle
=3b=3×25=75 cm

We have,
Length of the rectangle =75 cm
Breadth of rectangle =25 cm
The perimeter of the rectangle is given by:
P=2(Length+Breadth)
=2(75+25)
=2(100)
=200
Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is 200 cm.
