$\Rightarrow l=5+b$

Perimeter of the rectangular hall$=2(l+b)$

$\Rightarrow 74=2(5+b+b)$

$\Rightarrow 5+2b=\frac{74}{2}=37$

$\Rightarrow 2b=37-5=32$m

$\therefore b=\frac{32}{2}=16$m

$\therefore l=5+b=5+16=21$m

$\therefore$length$=21$ m and breadth$=16$ m
