Length of room in $\mathrm{centimetres}$$\left(\mathrm{cm}\right)$$=$$\left(8\times 100+12\right)\mathrm{cm}$

$=\left(800+12\right)\mathrm{cm}$

$=812\mathrm{cm}$

$\Rightarrow$The breadth of the room is $4\mathrm{m}22\mathrm{cm}$

We know that $1\mathrm{metre}\left(\mathrm{m}\right)=1000\mathrm{millimetres}\left(\mathrm{mm}\right)$ and $1\mathrm{centimetres}\left(\mathrm{cm}\right)=10\mathrm{millimetres}\left(\mathrm{mm}\right)$
