You already know that nitrogen when bonded to 3 species has a lone pair of electrons. Looking closely at this compound, there are 4 nitrogen atoms right? One central nitrogen atom which is connected to 3 amino ethane groups. Each of the amino ethane groups have a nitrogen which is bonded to 2 hydrogens and one carbon.
So clearly, all the nitrogen atoms only have 3 bonds here, making the lone pairs on each of them available for bonding with a metal.
