Solution

The correct option is A c=0.63p+7
After 30% discount SP of the potatoes will be,
SP=0.90(130100)
SP=0.90(70100)
SP=0.63

So, price of 1 pound of potatoes = 0.63
Hence, price of p pounds of potatoes will be = 0.63p

The cost of two cantaloupes will be,
2×3.5=$7

Hence, total cost c can be represented as,
c=0.63p+7

Hence, option A is correct.
