Solution

Pollens are yellow coloured powder-like grains produced by stamens and it contains the male germ cells of the flower. The coat of the pollen grains is modified depending upon the type of pollination exhibited by the plant. For example, in wind-pollinated plants, the pollen grains are light and may have some winged structures called pollinia which help them in easy transportation by the wind. In plants pollinated by insects and bees, the pollen grains have a spiny outer coat to stick easily to the bodies of these pollinating agents.
