Solution
Marked price of the floor spread = Rs 650
Discount percent = 8%
Discount = Marked Price × p.c. discount
= 650 × 8%
=
650
×
8
100
= Rs 52
Selling Price =Marked Price − Discount
= Rs 650 − Rs 52
= Rs 598
∴ The selling price of the floor spread is Rs 598.
