The mass of a pendulum bob is $0.11 k g$ and string is $1 m$ long. The bob is held so that the string is horizontal and is then allowed to fall. Find K.E of bob when it makes an angle of $30^{o}$ with vertical.

As only gravitational force is acting hence, loss in Potential Energy should be gain in Kinetic Energy.
$\frac{1}{2} m u^{2} = m g h$
$K E = 0.1 \times 10 \times c o s 30^{0}$
$K E = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} J$
