Case - 1: Mean = 30
So, total marks score in "n" exams = 30n.

Case - 2: Mean = 35
So, total marks score in "n" exams = 35n.

Given: he scored 6 marks more in each of the (n-1) exams.
So, 30n + 6(n-1) = 35n
6n-6 = 5n
n = 6.

Or, The number of exams = 6.
