Given that the melting point of a non-sublimable solid is 100oC.When a small piece of this solid is taken in a test tube and placed in boiling water. Then the solid remains as it is.

The transmission of heat takes place as long as the temperature of solid is below 0oC.

Now, as soon as the temperature of solid will reach 100oC then transmission of the heat from water the solid will stops. Hence, it does not melt.
