Sum of slaries of all the workers $=(8\times 3000)+(7\times 4000)+(4\times 5000)+(4\times 6000)+(3\times 7000)+(3\times 8000)+9000=24000+28000+20000+24000+21000+24000+9000=15000$

Mean of monthly salary $=\frac{150000}{30}=5000$

Hence the mean of monthly salary is $Rs.5000$.
