Solution

The correct option is C 200
There are 20 numbers between1 to 100 which are divisible by 5
Thus, there are 20×10=200 numbers between 1 to 1000 which are divisible by 5.
OR
Let 'a' be first multiple of 5=5
'n' be the number of multiples between 1 and 1000.
'd' be the common difference =5
and T be the last multiple between 1 and 1000=1000
T=a+(n1)d ......... (using A.P.)
1000=5+(n1)5
995=(n1)5
199=(n1)
n=200
Hence, there are 200 numbers which are multiples of 5 from 1 to 1000
