The correct option is C 30

Initial reading of the odometer = 1000 km

Final reading of the odometer = 1540 km

Distance covered by the car = Final reading of the odometer – Initial reading of the odometer

= 1540 - 1000 = 540 km = 540 x 1000 m = 54000 m

Hence, time taken = 5 hr = 5 x 60 x 60 s = 18000 s

Average Speed = DistanceTime = 54000018000 = 30 m s1

Thus, the average speed of the vehicle is 30 ms1.
