Thickness of the iron = 1 cm

Outer radius =6 cm
Hence, outer volume of the sphere
=43 π (router)3
=43 π (6)3

Inner radius =5 cm
Therefore, inner volume of the sphere

Then, volume of iron used
= Outer volume – Inner volume
