Solution

The outer dimension of Closed window are 10 cm; 8 cm; 7 cm

Thickness of wooden box is 2 cm
The inner dimensions are given by
10 cm2 cm=8 cm

8 cm2 cm=6 cm

7 cm2 cm=5 cm

Therefore, The inner dimensions of wooden box are,
8 cm, 6 cm, 5 cm

Volume of the cuboid =length×breadth×height

The volume occupied by Wooden box
=Volume of box with outer dimensions Volume of box with inner dimensions

=(10 cm×8 cm×7 cm)(8 cm×6 cm×5 cm)

=560 cm3240 cm3

=320 cm3

Cost of 1cm3 is Rs. 2.00

The total cost =320×Rs. 2
