The correct option is A Rs. 3,085.20
Given,
The external dimensions of a closed wooden box are 27cm,19cm and 11cm respectively.
As the thickness is 1.5cm , the internal length, breadth and height of the closed box are 272(1.5)=24cm,192(1.5)=16cm and
112(1.5)=8cm respectively.
Now, volume of wood used to make the box
= Volume with the external dimensions Volume with the internal dimensions
=> Volume of wood used to make the box =(27×19×11)(24×16×8)=56433072=2571cucm
So, cost of the wood =1.20×2571=Rs3085.2
