Volume of external dimension $=l\times b\times h=27\times 19\times 11c{m}^3$$=5643c{m}^3$l

The thickness of wood in the box is $1.5cm.$

$\therefore$ volume of internal dimension of 1.5 cm $=(27-3)(19-3)(11-3)=24\times 16\times 8c{m}^3$$=3072c{m}^3$

$\therefore$ volume of wood in the box$=5643-3072=2571c{m}^3$
