Since the wood is 1 cm thick, the inner measurements of the box are $(45 - 2) c m \times (32 - 2) c m \times (28 - 2) c m$ .
i.e. $43 \times 30 \times 26 c m^{2} = 33540 c m^{2}$
Hence capacity of the box = inner volume of the box
$= 33540 c m^{3}$
