Parallel sides of the trapezium are 9 cm and 7 cm,
Thus, the sum of the lengths of parallel sides (9+7) cm=16 cm
Distance between them =6 cm
Area of the trapezium =12(sum of the lengths of parallel sides)×(distance between them)

Area of the trapezium=12×16×6 cm2 =48 cm2.
