The perimeter of a rectangular field is $280m.$ If its length is $50m$ more than the breadth. Find the length and breadth of the rectangle.

Let the breadth of the rectangle be $xm$

Then, length of the rectangle $=x+50m$

Now, Perimeter of rectangle $=280m$

$\Rightarrow 2(length+breadth)=280$ [$\because$ Perimeter of rectangle $=2(length+breadth)$]

$\Rightarrow 2(x+x+50)=280$

$\Rightarrow x+x+50=140$

$\Rightarrow 2x=90$

$\Rightarrow x=45$

so, Breadth $=45m$

and, Length $=45+50=95m$
