To find the side we know that the perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of all the sides of a triangle.
Let the third sides of the triangles $= a m$
Other two sides are $0.81 m a n d 0.46 m$
Perimeter of triangle $= s u m o f a l l s i d e s$
$1.72 = 0.81 + 0.46 + a 1.72 = 1.27 + a a = 1.72 - 1.27 a = 0.45$
Third side of triangle is $0.45 m$
Hence, the side in cm $= 0.45 \times 100 = 45 c m$
