Open in App
Solution

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 2l+2b
l = length
b=breadth
given that
its length is 1 metre more than twice the breath
that is l = 1+2b

80 = 2(1+2b)+2b
80=2+4b+2b
80 = 2+6b
78 = 6b
b= 78/6
b= 13 metre

so l =1+2*13
l = 1+26
l = 27metre
