The correct option is A 4 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = (2 × length) + ( 2 × breadth) = 20 cm

Length of the rectangle = 6 cm

Perimeter of the rectangle = (2 × 6) + ( 2 ×breadth) = 20 cm

⇒ 12 + ( 2 × breadth) = 20

Subtracting 12 from both sides,

⇒ 2 × breadth = 8

Dividing both sides by 2

⇒ breadth = 4 cm

Hence ‘option a’ is correct.
