Solution

The pituitary gland is considered as master Gland. It controls growth & activity of the Thyroid Gland, Adrenal Gland, Gonads, & Liver. It is considered “Middleman” between the brain (CNS) and the peripheral endocrine organs. As it receives releasing/inhibiting hormones from the hypothalamus that regulates the release of pituitary hormones. Pituitary hormones in turn act on endocrine and non-endocrine tissue for various physiological functions in the body.
