Present age of man $=3x$
Six years ago :
Age of man $=3x-6$
Age of son $=x-6$
$3x-6=4(x-6)$
$3x-6=4x-24$
$x=18$
Six years later :
Age of man $=3\times 18+6=60$
Age of son $=18+6=24$
Ratio =$60:24=5:2$
