Solution

The correct option is D 10%
Let the original price of the jewel be Rs. P and the profit earned by the third seller be x%

S.P. of 1st seller = Rs.120100× P = C.P. of 2nd seller

S.P of 2nd seller =Rs.125100×120P100= C.P. of 3rd seller

S.P. of 3rd seller =Rs.(100+x)100×125100×120P100

Given (100+x)100×125100×120P100=165P100

(100+x)=23×165 =110x=110100=10%

Hence option (B) os correct option
