Let the cost of washing machine is Rs x

Given washing machine cost is Rs 6000 less then air conditioner

Then cost of air conditioner=x+6000

Given ratio of air conditioner ans washing machine is 3 : 2

$\frac{x+6000}{x}=\frac{3}{2}$

$\Rightarrow 2(x+6000)=3x$

$\Rightarrow 2x+1200=3x$

$\Rightarrow 3x-2x=12000$

$\Rightarrow x=12000$

Then cost of washing machine is Rs 12000
