It is a ribonucleic acid (RNA) because it contains uracil. Uracil is present only in the RNA.
As the nucleic acid is RNA, then it will be single-stranded. Unlike double-stranded DNA, RNA is a single-stranded molecule in many of its biological roles and consists of a much shorter chain of nucleotides.
Hence, the nucleic acid is RNA and it is single-stranded.
